Kamerastore/Camera Rescue is transferring the production of StantaColor 100 (Kodak Aerocolor IV) spooling to Optik Oldschool. If you’ve come across the review or are already familiar with the film, SantaColor is a repackaged color-negative film still produced fresh by Kodak for aerial surveillance photography. The Finnish Camera Rescue team was the initial discoverer and distributor of this film for 35mm cameras, but as per their announcement today, the operation is being transferred to the German company Optik Oldschool.

Optik Oldschool plans to utilize its automated spooling machines to increase production and enhance distribution, which should hopefully make the film more accessible at your preferred stores. Who is Optik Oldschool? You might recognize this lab’s name from the OptiColour 200 film packs that feature new German-made color-negative film, which has been reviewed here: analog.cafe/r/kono-color-2…. They were the first to produce this film (also known as ORWO NC200) in medium format.
