Film Ferrania is in the process of reintroducing its films. Over the past two years, the company has faced various internal challenges and changes. However, following its acquisition by InovisCoat (more commonly known as ORWO), Film Ferrania has been focused on reviving its production lines. Today, they reaffirmed their commitment to this goal.
Regrettably, there is currently no timeline for when their films will return to store shelves. The email update from Film Ferrania (see attached screenshot) does not provide any dates. Additionally, the email listed in the header is invalid, and the contact email on their website is also inactive. I will continue to seek ways to reach out to them and will update this post if I receive any response!
While this may not be the update I’m eagerly anticipating (the official relaunch of film production), the narrative of Ferrania’s decline and revival is quite intricate.
