Updated: Review of Harman Phoenix I & II Film. Harman Phoenix is the latest colour-negative film available, produced by a company that is not Kodak. This film comes from the same manufacturer that makes the well-known Ilford black-and-white film, marking their significant investment in a medium they haven’t focused on since the 1960s. Harman Phoenix II includes notable enhancements in dynamic range/contrast, grain, and color compared to its predecessor. Since my initial review, I've shot numerous rolls of both the original and the new Phoenix, conducted a few experiments with the film (such as converting it into slides), and compared it with other emulsions. The revised review incorporates new information, samples, and improved wording for a more enjoyable reading experience: “Harman Phoenix I & II Colour Film Review.” Read it here: analog.cafe/r/harman-phoen…#editorial🔥
