Lomography has introduced the Joseph Petzval Focus-coupled Bokeh Control Art Lens Series. The lineup includes new lenses: a 55mm f/1.7, an 80.5mm f/1.9, and a 35mm f/2, which offer creative swirly bokeh effects inspired by Joseph Petzval’s original 1840 portrait lens designs, recalibrated and reengineered for modern full-frame and crop sensor cameras. Additional lenses, 27mm and 135mm, will be added soon.
"Each lens features adjustable aperture and focus control rings without stops, along with a unique chrome bokeh ring for easy handling. This release also marks the debut of the Petzval 80.5 mm focal length for full-frame mirrorless cameras."
These new lenses cater to both still photographers and videographers: "With a 180° focus throw, compatibility with follow-focus systems (MOD 0.8), standardized gear positions, and focus-coupled bokeh control, this series is versatile for both photography and videography."

The newly introduced 55mm f/1.7, 80.5mm f/1.9, and 35mm f/2 lenses provide the ability to create artistic swirly bokeh effects by employing the original 1840 portrait lens formulas developed by Joseph Petzval, which have been recalibrated and reengineered for contemporary cameras with both full-frame and crop sensors. #editorial.
