Did you know that you can use cannabis to develop film? Last year, Daren, Yvonne, and I demonstrated that it is indeed possible. We experimented with a variety of unconventional developers, and our “Sativa Cannanol” formula turned out to be very effective, yielding low-grain, high-quality results with Ilford HP5+. This cannabis-infused recipe requires a development time of 420 seconds at 69℉ (no joke). We tested it out with our amazing model, Lily, who assisted us in creating a chart of exposures to find its effective ISO.
