**High-Resolution Images.** 🌠 To ensure optimal performance, approximately 20 versions of each image in different sizes and formats are uploaded alongside every article. These versions are automatically chosen and delivered based on your screen size and browser specifications. The largest formats (up to 4,000 pixels wide) are exclusively available to GOLD members. Such high-resolution images reveal intricate film grain details, providing a clearer perspective of what the scans would resemble with the same emulsion, equipment, or techniques. Plus, they are visually superior!
**Premium Apps.** 📲 GOLD members have access to Chem Log, an app for home labs that tracks chemical expiration dates and includes a dilution calculator and extended development time calculator. This app works in conjunction with Film Log, which efficiently monitors film across various cameras.
Bulk Roll Calculator helps determine the number of frames per roll and the yield from any bulk quantity of film. Film Price Trends is another app that charts average film prices, tracked since 2018 across three continents, multiple stores, and various film stocks. GOLD members receive a detailed price breakdown for each store to help find the best deals, along with other advanced insights.
Creating some apps can be complex and releasing them to the public all at once is challenging. When I develop larger features, GOLD members are the first to access them.
**Monthly Email Updates.** 💌 Besides the public newsletters, members receive monthly email updates on the last or second-to-last Friday of each month, introducing new exclusive content and sharing plans for the upcoming month.
